The tale of one little koala, who has had quite enough of his eucalyptus diet. And so he goes on the lookout for some tastier tucker. The story is a simple cautionary tale, highlighting the importance of moderation, balance, and paying attention to the Laws of the Universe*.

Laura and I had tonnes of fun creating Koalas Eat Gum Leaves, and we hope it brings heaps of fun to you and yours.

Life’s not easy for the most serious kooka in the borough.

Kookaburras Love to Laugh is a story about stereotypes, differences, fitting in, and flatulence. Our second picture book together tells the tale of one particularly serious kookaburra, who doesn’t care much for the status quo.

This guy has always been different. He doesn’t like to koo, and he isn’t keen to kaa… life’s no breeze for the most serious bird on the branch. So he takes off to find a more fitting flock, but soon discovers that all flocks have their flaws.
